At the end of the 19th century Qorixona was within Kunya Ark, on the left of the central gate, in front of the entrance to the mint. The modern building of Qorixona is located outside, south of Kunya Ark gate. It was build at the end of 19th century and served for temporary imprisonment. The Qorixona is a rectangular structure elongated from the south to the north. It is made of burn bricks. There are three rooms in the Qorixona covered with a beamed dome. The two first rooms are similar in size and shape. The third room is small; it is a toilet for prisoners. There was a pit for executions and gallows in front of the Qorixona
